The purpose of the after school program is to provide a safe and fun environment where students go once the academic school day has ended.
Hours: 3-5:30pm
Days: Every school day except the Friday before Christmas break, Holy Thursday and the last day of school. (See school calendar.)
Rates: $6.00 for the first hour.** Each additional ½ hour is $3.00. **There is no charge for the first 10 minutes of supervision. In other words, you will not be charged until 3:10pm on a normal school day. So please drive safe and do not speed if you are running a little late.
What is a typical day at Daycare?
What are the pick-up procedures?
If you are picking your child up before 4:00pm, please come to the gate near the lunch tables. If you are picking your child up after 4:00pm, please park by the Academy and walk to the Youth Ministry Center in the back of the Parish Offices.
Is there a sign-up fee?
No, we have made this as simple as possible. Please reassure your child that if you are not here by 3:00pm they will automatically be checked into Daycare. There is no need to call the school.
How do I pay?
A bill will be sent via e-mail at the beginning of each month (for the previous month). Payment will be due on the 15th of the month, or a $10 late fee will be added on. NOTE: Billing for August Daycare will be included in the September billing.
Do students need to bring anything to eat?
Only on half days will they need to bring a lunch. A healthy snack will be provided for your child each day. NOTE: If your child has food allergies, please consider sending a snack along for the afternoon.
Are the forms to be filled out with emergency numbers, contacts, etc…?
No, we have access to all emergency forms.
What if I need to contact my child?
If you need to contact After School Daycare, our contact cell # is 858-925-3247. If no one answers, please leave a message and contact number. Your call will be returned as soon as possible. Please understand that the Daycare staff members may be outside with the students or assisting a student and not available to immediately answer the phone.
Is this tax deductible?
Yes, childcare is tax deductible. We can provide you with the tax ID# upon request. However, it is your responsibility to keep track of your year-long Daycare expenses for reimbursement or tax purposes.
What if I am late picking my child up from Daycare?
Please call if possible so we know everything is okay. After 5:30pm the rate is $1.00/minute.
