The light of His love
And the joy of His life within you.

Thank you to Ms. Williams and parents for the beautiful preparation of our students. We are so excited for the students to join us fully in the celebration of the liturgy! Be sure to join us for Friday mass on May 12th for Mary’s Crowning. We celebrate both our 2nd and 8th graders in a joyful tradition.

Mrs. Schlehuber will be returning as a part-time curriculum specialist and writing/language arts support teacher for grades 4-8. After many years, Mrs. Kwasniewski is retiring to pursue her love of travel and to spend time with her grandbabies. We are excited to announce that we have hired a second Sarah Phillips, a USD graduate, CA multiple and single subject (English) credentialed teacher for our sixth grade next year! Ms. Phillips has public and Catholic school teaching experience in the Los Angeles area. Other than these minor changes, our campus will be full of familiar faces!

Diocesan Student Fee

In an effort to improve marketing, enrollment management, school development, data collection and assistance to Diocesan schools and recommended by Bishop McElroy’s commissioned Task Force for Schools, a $25 per-student fee will be collected in addition to regular tuition for the 2017-2018 school year. This fee will be reflected in your September 2017 invoice. Please read this letter, from John Galvin, Director, Office of Schools for more information.

Immunizations - Current 6th Grade Students

Current sixth grade students need to have their dTap booster up-to-date for 7th grade.

Please see the following:

From the Diocese

As of January 1, 2016, SB 277 will:

  1. No longer permit immunization exemptions based on personal beliefs for children in child care and public and private schools;

  3. Remove immunization requirements for:

• Students in home-based private schools

• Access to special education and related services specified in an individualized education program

Admit a child who:

  1. He/she is missing a dose(s) in a series, but the next dose is not due yet (meaning the child has received at least one dose in a series and the deadline for the next dose has not passed). The child may not be admitted if the deadline has passed or the child has not yet received the 1st dose.
  2. He/she has a temporary medical exemption to certain vaccine(s) and has submitted an immunization record for vaccines not exempted.
