These three remain: faith, hope and love. The greatest of these is love.

Hello St. James Families & Students!

Happy August! We can’t believe that our campus will come alive in a couple of weeks with students. Much work has been done this summer. Our faculty and staff have been reviewing and planning curriculum, attending writing in-services and leadership trainings, updating technology, reading books to research additional programs and preparing the campus for the first day of school!  Please read below for additional important information and updates.

Facilities
You may be surprised when you return to see that SJA has been painted a new, fresh, bright color! Solar is almost completely installed on our roof and HVAC will be updated as soon as the solar is finished. The field has undergone maintenance and is ready for our sports’ teams and outdoor play. Carpets have been cleaned and teachers have been busy preparing classrooms for the first day of school! Work is continuing in the church and we are excited for the big reveal this fall. A big thank you to Mike Kimberlain for all his efforts on these projects and to the Parish for making these updates a priority.

Volunteers- MUST COMPLETE!
The Diocese has changed its policy regarding volunteers. ALL volunteers must complete safe environment training on the CMG website. The training consists of three videos, with questions after each one. Please print the certificate of completion at the end and turn it into the front office. This certificate must be on file prior to volunteering on campus, in classrooms, on field trips, etc. In addition, anyone, including new families, who has not been previously Live Scanned will need to complete the background check, also located on the CMG website.
Thanks for your continued support of SJA- we can’t do it without you!

In addition, we have created a new volunteer/business survey for parents. The new survey will help us create a business directory, so we can shop and support local. It will also help us match your areas of expertise and interests with our areas of need. It will be sent to you soon!

Update Ki's Hot Lunch
Please login to your Ki's account to change your child's grade. This will help up with lunch distribution the first week of school. New families can use this link to set up an new lunch account with our hot lunch provider, Ki's.

Back to School Night/Mandatory Forms
Please complete and turn in all Mandatory Forms on or before August 31st. Students who have not turned in the necessary paperwork will not be admitted to school on September 5th.
