"We will find peace, we will be builders of peace and will spread peace around us." Pope Francis

8th grade students lead 2nd grader on a church tour with the help of Fr. Ricky, Pam Smith, Miss Williams and Mrs. Mott

Jesus, dear Savior, during these days of Lent, I want to fast, to repent and to pray. Above all else I want to stay in the circle of Your love. Walk with me and surround me with Your light; lead me and guide me in Your footsteps. During this season of Lent help me to follow You and imitate Your love. May this cross remind me today and throughout Lent of Your great love for me. Amen.

Teenage Clothing Drive for the Monarch School - through April 21st

Nina Fazio (older sister to our own 7th grader, Anna Fazio) is helping coordinate a Cathedral Catholic High School clothing drive for high school students at The Monarch School. The Monarch School provides K-12 education to homeless youth in San Diego. A box for donations of new and gently used clothing for high school boys and girls is located in the SJA front office. Please see the flyer for more details.

Casa Eudes Fashion Show

Cleaning Closets? If you’re cleaning out your closets and there are some clothes that still look good, donate them to the Casa Eudes Fashion Show. This is the event where the girls at the Casa Eudes Home become “designers for a day” -- and the outfits they manage to put together with the donated clothes and accessories are so imaginative! We need used clothes for girls, teens, and ladies, as well as shoes, hats, purses, and jewelry. Please make sure the items are clean and in good condition. Just leave your bags or boxes labeled Fashion Show in the “cry room” to the right as you enter St. James by April 25. What you give away will go in style!
